Trailer Hitch Rack - Carring Items Conveniently

A trailer hitch rack is meant to carry bikes, canoes, kayaks and other objects of similar dimension. A trailer hitch rack acts as a rear or a forward carrier that can easily hold two canoes or five kayaks.

Trailer hitch rack is most commonly used for carrying bikes from one place to another. They can hold more than one bike at once, leaving enough cargo space. The bike racks are specially designed metal racks that fit through the receiver hitch opening. With the wheels being placed into two openings on the rack, the bike remains fastened in an upright position.

A trailer hitch rack is attached to the trailer hitch or tow ball of the car. Tow balls are mainly of two types.
- The bolt on that can be fixed with bolts to a mounting plate
- The swan neck that can be hardly seen from underneath the bumper

The racks should be compatible with the tow ball types of the car.

In most of the modern automobile designs, the rack is extended out vertically from the rear of the vehicle. However, the ball mount bike rack is fixed on the rear of the vehicle horizontally. All these racks are extremely well built and are designed to tow objects keeping them safely above the ground.
